Christian Paolo Lat is a Filipino-Canadian filmmaker who mentored at the International Academy of Film and Television (IAFT). In his teen, Christian moved from Ottawa, Canada to an island in Cebu, Philippines to master the art of Filmmaking at the IAFT. He has been invited and won at numerous local and international film festivals for both filmmaking and acting. He is based in the Philippines, Canada, and the USA. Christian is the director & writer at UrbanFlix TV and For Us, By Us Network (FUBU). Christian's first feature-length film "Ginhawa" was one of Cinemalaya 2022: Breaking through the Noise Official Selection. The film won Best Supporting Actress (Ruby Ruiz) and was recently nominated in the Society Of Filipino Film Reviewers: 3rd Pinoy Rebyu Awards as Best Feature Film and Best Film Edition. Ginhawa was considered one of the Best films of 2022- by Goldwin Reviews, Daily Inquirer & Society of Filipino Film Reviewers.
