Rob Peck (Born 1983) is an American who resides in Chennai, India. While a digital marketer by profession, Rob has done both acting and voiceover work for dozens of Kollywood (Tamil cinema) films and TV shows. Originally from Evanston, Illinois, Rob is the son of Abe, a journalist and professor, and Suzanne, an educator and consultant. Rob is the brother of Doug Peck, a Jeff Award-winning music director, voice trainer, and pianist. After graduating high school, Rob attended the University of Iowa, graduating with a BBA Marketing. During his time at Iowa, Rob was active in Scope, the student group responsible for booking music and other shows at the university. From there, Rob relocated to Miami, Florida where he began his digital marketing career. In 2011, Rob relocated to Chennai, India to join O3M, a digital marketing firm. It's at that time his acting and voiceover career began in earnest. As a hobby, Rob began doing voiceover work for small local productions. While at a tea stall, a casting agent for AVM Studios approached Rob. That began his Kollywood journey in earnest, with voiceover work in Ajith's 2015 hit, Vedalam. Since that time, Rob has been seen or heard in dozens of regional films. Rob married his wife, Laxmi in 2016 and they have a child, who was born in 2018.
