Bella Dayne began acting at a young age, leading to her attending the prestigious acting school 'The Stella Adler Studio Of Acting' in New York City. After the conservatory, she quickly landed a great range of roles, the variety of which she would go on to become known for; namely characters of an enormous diversity of accents and backgrounds (such as French-Canadian, British, various American, French, Italian, German, Russian, Polish, Mid-Atlantic, Spanish). She is fluent in several languages.
Dayne can be seen in Humans which airs on AMC in the U.S. and Channel 4 in the UK, written by Sam Vincent and Jonathan Brackley. The series was nominated for a BAFTA award and was the highest rated drama for Channel 4. Dayne plays the beloved character "Astrid", a free-spirited young woman that becomes the long-term love interest and guiding partner of the conscious AI Niska (played by Emily Berrington).
Shortly after, Dayne played Eliette, a French-Canadian idealist from Québec and a member of a radical group in Showtime's GUERRILLA. The mini-series from Oscar winner John Ridley is set in the 1970s in the UK capital during the birth of the Black Power movement. Dayne starred as Helen of Troy in the BAFTA winning BBC and Netflix period drama mini series Troy: Fall of A City. Daughter to a professional athlete father and a physician mother; she followed in her father's footsteps for 5 years at a young age and became a professional high diver, competing regularly in high diving at the highest level. Before and after her professional high diving years, she completed an extensive dance training in ballet, modern, flamenco, jazz, street dance and salsa over a course of 15 years.
