Eddie Flake was born in Santa Clara, California on October 29, 1981. The beginning of his career in the entertainment industry began with music. While pursuing studies at the University of Hawaii, Eddie's musical talents gained the attention of one of Hawaii's top recording companies, Tiki Entertainment. He was also granted his own radio show in the number 1 urban radio station, 102.3 Da Bomb, in Honolulu. His success in Hawaii led him to continue establishing himself as an artist and music producer in Florida, Texas, and California. He received his degree in Recordings Arts and Music Engineering from Full Sail Real World Education based out of Orlando, Florida. In 2007, Eddie moved to Los Angeles and expanded his career in the entertainment industry and began working in television production. He worked as a production assistant in several popular and top-rated reality shows such as I Love New York, A Shot At Love, I Want To Work For Diddy, Miss Rap Supreme, Top Design, Beauty and The Geek, Click, College Hill, and Gold Diggers.
Eddie also worked as an audience coordinator for TV shows - Hole In The Wall, Byron Allen's Comics Unleashed, and Bingo America. After learning about production, Eddie moved from behind the scenes to the front of the camera and appeared in several movies -Along Came Polly (2003), Blue (2007), Who Shot Mamba (2007), Gods of Circumstances (2007), and Friday Night at the DeWayne's (2007). As a multi-talent, Eddie continued to work on music while working on film. He worked as an assistant music engineer at well-known studios like Hollywood Sounds and Purple Rain Studio. He produced music for international and local artists such as Japan's hip hop artist - Luna, hip hop group - The Hitman in Dallas, Veronica V (Cash Money artist), Black Dada (SBR/Universal artist), Redd Eyezz (SBR/Warner Bros artist), Get Fresh (IMG/Def Jam artist), Velvet Angels (Def Jam artist). Eddie continued his studies in Los Angeles and attended classes at The Groundlings and Margie Haber Studios and trained under acting coaches Killian McHugh, Jill Alexander, and Mike Pointer.
In 2013 and 2014, Eddie produced and played a lead role for a TV pilot titled "Kode Orange: Los Angeles". He also played supporting roles for an independent film titled "Under A Red Blood Sky" and a feature film, "Where Children Play", which starred Brian White, Macy Gray, and Teyonah Parris.
