Auroshika Dey movie list

Auroshikha acting philosophy is to keep the method organic yet spontaneous - bringing out multi-layered characters with complex emotions. An ardent aficionado of new-wave, expressionism and avant-garde style, she draws her creative stimulus from a wide variety of subjects including history, culture, politics, literature and most of all - people! She owes this to her alma mater - the prestigious Film and Television Institute of India (Pune) where she got trained in the 'craft of acting' by industry's finest performers and accomplished veterans. Though, her journey as an artist started much before. Born to a decorated army colonel and an artistically gifted mom, Auroshikha has been raised in "yin-yang" milieu to master dedication, focus and steadfast commitment - in tandem with passion, creativity and imagination. Her avid interest in fitness has kept her engaged with adventure sports, marathon, swimming and more recently Zumba! And her creative pursuits kept her busy while practicing the classical dance form, Kathak with further extensions to contemporary and free-style. (There's some Bachelor of Science Saga from Mount Carmel College in between too) As an actor, Auroshikha is proud of performing with some of the most recognized creative influencers and though provoking artists of our times. She has continued to push her theatrical limits through many successful multi-cultural productions covering films, television, theatre & digital mediums. Her body of work includes full length features like "Charlie Kay Chakkar Mein", "NH-8: Road to Nidhivan", "Myoho", " Prem Mayee" "Haat - The Weekly Bazaar", Shorts like "Salaam", "Ek Jevani", "Points of Origin", along with multiple documentaries and commercials for multinational conglomerates. Able to converse flawlessly in English, Hindi and Bengali, Auroshikha has done work in Urdu, Punjabi, Malayalam and Marathi environments as well. She thinks deep conversation are life savers, other than grilled fish and a glass of Cabernet. When she's not busy bringing fables to cinematic reality, she can be found in the left of center... thinking - Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?
