René Escobar Jr. is a Canadian-Panamanian actor proving to be part of the new brand of leading men in Hollywood. René will be starring opposite Justin Long, Augustus Prew, and Andrea Bang in the highly-anticipated Lionsgate horror, Dear David, hitting theaters fall 2022. He will also be starring alongside Kim Coates in the long-awaited indie thriller, Neon Lights, also due out this year. In the meantime, you'll be able to see René in the season finale of the CBS medical drama, Good Sam, alongside Jason Isaacs and Sophia Bush. René has starred in Hallmark's Heart of the Holidays alongside Vanessa Lengies, Amazon Prime's Jack Ryan, and Bravo's Imposters. His other credits include roles in NBC's Taken, Mayday: Air Emergency, and Far Cry 6.
