When Shayne was 19 years old, he was shot twice in the back - caught in the crossfires of a brawl, placed in dangerous circumstances as a result of his adolescent drug addiction. He was hospitalized for months and told that he may be paralyzed for life. This near death experience was the wake up call he needed to get sober, leave his negative influences behind, and put all of his focus on physical therapy and finding a way out of that lifestyle. Less than a year later Shayne made a full recovery, signing with modeling agents in NYC, London, Milan, Sydney, Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Paris - and even though he was told he may never walk again - was stepping down the runways of Lacoste, Libertine, Hood by Air, and Balmain. This lead to Shaynes true passion in the film industry starting his training at Stella Adler, Uta Hagen, and Meisner technique in NYC, and landing in Los Angeles, training with Lesly Kahn, Groundlings, UCB, and Margie Haber. He has also added Writing to his next endeavors and plans on telling his story of drug dealing and getting shot to German GQ model.
