Dimitri Logothetis immigrated to America with his parents at age six. He grew up in Los Angeles, went to high school in the South Bay were he played football, and attended college at Loyola Marymount were received a Masters in Film and Television. Dimitri made a short film at Loyola which he produced and directed called Call Me Kaiser. The film won seven national and international film festivals. Since his early days as director and writer of acclaimed feature films, television and documentaries, Dimitri has excelled in all genres ranging from dramas to thrillers and comedies. In addition to his artistic endeavors, Dimitri Logothetis has run three companies, managed hundreds of employees around the world, and implemented over one hundred fifty million of production financing. In 2011 he became the President of Motion Pictures for Kings Road Entertainment, which produced Kickboxer and The Big Easy as well as The Best of Times, Dimitri is developing several Kings library projects as remakes. In 2020 he created a brand new science fiction martial arts film franchise in Jiu Jitsu, which was based on a comic book. Jiu Jitsu starred Nicholas Cage, Alain Moussi, Tony Jaa, and Marie Avgeropoulos. The film was #4 on Netflix in the US the week of it's release. Dimitri also rebooted the iconic Kickboxer Film Franchise. He wrote, produced and directed the two new Kickboxer's. Dimitri brought back Jean Claude-Van Damme along with Christopher Lambert from Highlander and several major fan pleasing world champion MMA fighters like George St. Pierre and Fabricio Werdum along with MikeTyson. Kickboxer Retaliation got 92% from critics and 84% from the audience on Rotten Tomatoes. Dimitri is not only an award winning filmmaker, but has had several significant milestones in his career including in 2013, winning the Monaco Film Festival for his documentary Momo, The Sam Giancana Story, as well as Executive Producer/ Showrunner of two Warner Brothers TV series, developing and Executive producing Stephen Kings Sleepwalkers for Columbia Pictures. Directing four TV pilots, and making one of the highest selling most successful documentaries of all time, Champions Forever with Muhammed Ali.
